Make your application before Monday 27th

We have exciting news we wanted to share with you. You may already be aware of Voluntary Arts England as an organisation dedicated to supporting the amateur and voluntary arts sector. With funding from Spirit of 2012 Trust they have recruited a network of Development Officers across the UK.

Your Midlands Officer Sarah Breen is hosted by Nottinghamshire County Council's Art team, is keen to hear from you about how best we can work together and what support you may want from us.

Nottinghamshire has an incredible wealth of creative cultural participation and so it is an exciting journey for me discovering just how many different groups there are out there, and the range of activities people can enjoy. I am hoping to meet up with a lot of people and make partnerships, to listen and find out what we can do for you and provide a source of supportive information, through our website, toolkits, training events and exciting projects

Right now, if people want to know more, then it is all about getting in touch. I'm on sarah@vaengland.org.uk or 07818 031 632 and am really happy to have a chat and take your suggestions for the type of support you'd like to see.

Many groups have told us how important it is to them to have some recognition about what they do. We'll be working with you on ideas about how to showcase your work and bring your work to new and wider audiences in the run up to Voluntary Arts Week 2015. We also want to work with groups on new projects - look out for our funded opportunities!

Follow us on @volartsmidlands for Notts Voluntary Arts and watch this space as we get going with a Facebook page!

You can also sign up for Nottinghamshire County Council Arts email list - that way you'll get information about our future projects & events.
