Norman Pace, of famous 1980s comedy duo Hale and Pace, stars in The National Theatre's award-winning touring comedy One Man, Two Guvnors at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham later this month.
Norman trod the boards as an amateur in Newark, where he grew up, attending the Magnus Grammar School. He later went to teacher training college before going into teaching in 1975.

In the 1990s Norman's career took a another different direction towards theatre. He has starred in Chicago at the Adelphi Theatre, Breakfast with Jonny Wilkinson and Our Man in Havana with Simon Shepherd at the Nottingham Playhouse. In autumn 2013 he appeared again at the Nottingham Playhouse as The Showman in Michael Eaton's Charlie Peace: His Amazing Life and Astounding Legend with Peter Duncan. Before joining One Man, Two Guvnors in 2014 Norman was touring, as Wild Bill Hickock, with Jason Donovan in Annie Get Your Gun.

So Norman has plenty of experience to draw on and entertain us!
