NANDA DIRECTORS COURSE NOTTINGHAM

NANDA are pleased to announce plans for the staging of a Directors Course which has been designed to assist persons with little or no experience in directing plays At the end of the course participants will be able to demonstrate skills in
Blocking plays( devising moves and positions of actors)
Deciding approaches to directing the play and the methods for creating collective performance
Dealing with common production problems.
Organisation and arrangement of technical inputs
The course will be led by Bob Wildgust who has directed plays and musicals throughout the region with many of our leading Groups , ranging from French farce to Grand Opera. He is also in demand as a national adjudicator in speech and drama festivals and holds a Speech and Drama Diploma of the Royal Academy of Music. Bob also works as a book reader for Calibre the national charity for the blind and disabled and undertakes a regular programme of lectures on Theatre to a host of Groups. The organisation of this course follows several requests for Bob to run a further course after a highly successful similar venture he arranged for NANDA some few years ago
The three week course will be staged at the Aspley Community Training Centre, Minver Crescent, Aspley, Nottingham on the 21st ,28th September and 5.October 2012
It is expected that the final course fee will be in the region of £30 to £40 per person and will be fixed when final numbers are known and based on the recovery of overall costs.
