4 FESTIVALS
Play of the Year 17/18 and Awards Dinner
Three groups have entered so far - Ravenshead, PTC and Market Harborough. Market Harborough indicated they will be entering the maximum three plays and would like a further 4 adjudicating, outside the competition. JW will discuss this further with the group's representative. P o Y plays must always take precedence in the event of a clash.
Dinner - The Awards Dinner will take place on 22nd June 2018 at the Crowne Plaza. This year's event had been a great success. JW thanked LW for all her hard work and also CD.
Youth Festival 17/18
No information as yet. JW will contact Jean Lebeter for details.
AETF
JW reported that certain NANDA groups had been contacted by a member of the AETF committee, encouraging them to enter the One Act Festival and indicating a possibility of setting up a Notts/Derbys group. JW had expressed her disapproval of this to Roger Cunnington, who had apologised. There was a discussion about whether to continue with membership of AETF in the light of this. As membership for this year had already been paid it was decided to wait and see if there was any further development.
