2 MINUTES AND MATTERS ARISING
The minutes of the previous Council Meeting held on Tuesday 14 October had been circulated and these were signed as a correct record.
There were no matters arising not on the meeting agenda.

3 HON TREASURER'S REPORT - as at 4 November/2014
Neil presented a summary of the current funds available.
Balance = £8017.28
NS&I = £2307.12
Current = £5325.16
On hand = £385
Increase = No change
He went on to explain the provisional accounts that he had prepared for last year, ending 31 August 2014. Copy attached to the minutes. These show that the association had made an overall loss on the year of £356 compared with a profit of about £1500 the previous year. Most of this could be explained by the anomaly of an outstanding bill for Chilwell Theatre which had been carried over. It was also noted that festival income was down and that a smaller profit had been made on the Awards dinner as well as support being given to AETF entries outsde our area. In view of these items, and the effect they had on the financial situation, the Council was happy to adopt the accounts and for them to be sent to the auditor.
Two groups have not renewed their memberships as yet. Reminders to these groups will be followed up by various Council members. Keyworth had decided to leave the Association and Magpies membership was suspended until their future plans were known.
