Minutes of the Meeting of the Executive Council held on 14th October 2014 Ruddington.

Present:- Joan Wildgust (Chairman), Christine Davison (Secretary), Madeline Lord, Mike Stewart, Roy Ainscough (President), Tony Vokes, Neil Mackintosh (Treasurer)

1 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE were received from Sonja Oates, Linda and Howard Whitehurst,Bob Wildgust, Barbara Fisher.

2 MINUTES AND MATTERS ARISING. - The minutes of the previous Council Meeting held on Tuesday 16 September had been circulated and these were signed as a correct record.
One Act Festival - Information has gone out. There have been no firm entries yet. RW will send out reminders.
Youth Festival - ML confirmed that the 7th and 9th May were all right and that ELAPS would be entering.

Four groups have not renewed their memberships as yet. Reminders to these groups will be followed up by various Council members

4 FESTIVALS
a)Play of the Year 14/15 and DinnerThere have been three entries so far; Lace Market, Bonington and West Bridgford. There has been one adjudication - The Lace Market.
b) One Act Festival - 2015
Information has been sent out. Mike Stewart will check that the information is on Facebook.
c)Youth Festival
Dates have been confirmed as 7th and 9th May at Chilwell Olympia. No further information as yet from Jean Lebeter.

5 THEATRE LUNCHEON
Barbara Fisher reported that Chris Gascoigne had accepted the invitation and had offered to come from February onwards. After consulting the Lace Market on availability of their premises, it was decided to offer the speaker a choice of February 24th or 26th (with Feb 12th a third option). A sub committee consisting of Barbara Fisher, Joan Wildgust, Madeline Lord and Chris Davison will meet to discuss the details and organise food, seating etc.
