4 FESTIVALS
a) Play of the Year 13/14 and Dinner
The Chairman reported that there had been four entries so far.
Stephen Godward, last year's adjudicator, will be providing a new trophy in the form of a plate. This will be called the Stephen Godward trophy and will be presented at the adjudicator's discretion, "for outstanding contribution to the production by person or persons of 19 years of age or under on the day of the first production of the run" At the time of entry notice of eligibility must be given. Following a discussion, it was decided that the entry form for the Play of the Year, should be amended slightly to incorporate the new trophy and the Sidney Hopkin Trophy (Best Newcomer to the Adult Stage) and should include details of first time performers and those under 19 at the start of the run.
b) One Act Festival -
Bob Wildgust has sent information out to all groups about this year's competition. No entries have yet been received.
c)Youth Festival
Chilwell Olympia has been booked provisionally for 16 - 17 May. As Neil Mackintosh will be unable to do the technical support, Mel Reynolds and Madeline Lord will ask their contacts if they are able to help.
