Newsletter
Hayley circulated copies of the Newsletter and a draft copy of the Membership List. Final versions of these will go out to members soon.
She proposed an online version of the newsletter, similar to the bulletin board used by ELAPS, which would go out as an email from the website. This would be a more up to date and quicker way of getting information to members. It was proposed to present this at the AGM, with a view to it being implemented after the February Newsletter. Joan will arrange for Mike and Jon to contact Hayley.

Joan read out her letter to GODA regarding members' dissatisfaction with the Play of the Year adjudication. She then read out the reply from GODA, which upheld the complaint. Joan will reply to GODA and will send out a report to the groups which entered the competition to advise them of the outcome. The Council congratulated her on her letter.

Concerns were expressed at the apparent implications for drama groups. The situation was not yet clear and further consideration would be given to the issue at a future meeting when individual groups had addressed the situation.
Neil reported the sad news that Jackie Webb, former secretary of Orchard Theatre Company and previously of Bramcote and Stanton Drama Group had recently passed away.
