Minutes of the 69th Annual General Meeting held on Saturday 17th February 2018 at the Lace Market Theatre, Halifax Place,Nottingham.

PRESENT:- Joan Wildgust (Chairman), Christine Davison (Secretary), Neil MacIntosh (Treasurer), Tony Vokes(WBDS), Mike Stewart (Vice President),Bob Wildgust (Vice President), Linda and Howard Whitehurst (Bonington Players), Barbara Fisher (Lace Market Theatre), Barbara Barton (Beeston Players), Mel Reynolds (Burton Joyce Players), Roy Smith (PTC), Sophie Owen (PTC/Lace Market Theatre)Win and Chris Churchill (Kegworth Players)

1 APOLOGIES were received from Barbara Lloyd (Market Harborough Drama Society), Roy Ainscough, Tony Vokes (WBDS), Gordon Parsons (President), Meng Khaw (PTC),
2 MINUTES The minutes of the AGM held on 29th January 2017 had been circulated and were signed as a true record.
There were no matters arising
To approve the minutes - Proposed Mike Stewart, Seconded Linda Whitehurst
The minutes were approved unanimously.

3 CHAIRMAN'S REPORT 2017
The Chairman presented her report to the meeting.

4 HON TREASURER'S REPORT
The Treasurer presented his report to the meeting.
The accounts were unanimously accepted.
The Chairman thanked the Treasurer for his hard work in compiling the accounts.

5 APPOINTMENT OF HONORARY OFFICERS
There being no new names submitted, the existing officers expressed their willingness to continue.
Hon Secretary Christine Davison - proposed by Mel Reynolds, seconded by Mike Stewart. Elected unanimously
Hon Treasurer Neil Mackintosh - proposed by Barbara Barton, seconded by Mel Reynolds. Elected unanimously
Hon Auditor Jean Anthony - elected unanimously

6 TO APPOINT MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL FOR 2018
(present member list and nomination form previously circulated)
All existing Council members expressed their wish to continue and were re-elected unanimously. Howard Whitehurst suggested that all groups should be encouraged to nominate a member to attend Council meetings

7ANY OTHER BUSINESS - None

There being no further business ,the Chairman thanked the officers of the council for their hard work and thanked members of the Lace Market Theatre for their hospitality and warm welcome.

The Chairman declared the meeting closed at 2.28pm
