NOTTINGHAM AND NOTTINGHAMSHIRE DRAMA ASSOCIATION
Minutes of the 68th Annual General Meeting held on Sunday 29th January 2017 at the West Bridgford Dramatic Society's Studio, Stamford Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham.
PRESENT:-- Joan Wildgust (Chairman), Christine Davison (Secretary), Neil MacIntosh (Treasurer), Gordon Parsons (President), Roy Ainscough, Tony Vokes(WBDS), Mike Stewart (Vice President),Bob Wildgust (Vice President), Linda and Howard Whitehurst (Bonington Players), Rob Dixon(WBDS), Robbie Robb, Chris Collins (PTC), Wynn and Chris Churchill (Kegworth Players), Barbara Fisher (Lace Market Theatre)
1 APOLOGIES were received from Mel Reynolds (Burton Joyce Players), Jon Jones (Radcliffe on Trent Drama Group), Christine Harbidge (Individual member), Tracey Gosling (Ratae Co operative Group), Chantelle Thornley (Theatre Imp), Madeline Lord (ELAPS), John Foreman (Market Harborough Drama Society)
2 MINUTES The minutes of the AGM held on 31st January 2016 had been circulated and were signed as a true record.
There were no matters arising
The minutes were approved unanimously.

3 CHAIRMAN'S REPORT 2016
The Chairman presented her report to the meeting.
4 HON TREASURER'S REPORT
The Treasurer presented his report to the meeting.
Mike Stewart noted that although the finances were in a healthy state at this time in the financial year, it would be useful to know what the finances are at the lowest point of the year when most demands are made. The Treasurer replied that 90% of NANDA's expenditure was between May - July, when the balance was usually between £4,000 - £5,000.
The Chairman noted that NANDA always tried to keep costs down for the benefit of members.
The accounts were unanimously accepted.
The Chairman thanked the Treasurer for his hard work in compiling the accounts.
5 APPOINTMENT OF HONORARY OFFICERS
There being no new names submitted, the existing officers expressed their willingness to continue.
Hon Secretary - Christine Davison- proposed by Robbie Robb, seconded by Mike Stewart.
Hon Treasurer - Neil Mackintosh- proposed by Tony Vokes, seconded by Robbie Robb
Hon Auditor - Jean Anthony proposed by Mike Stewart, seconded by Chris Collins
All were unanimously elected
6 TO APPOINT MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL FOR 2016
(present member list and nomination form previously circulated)
All existing Council members expressed their wish to continue and were re-elected unanimously.
WBDS had formally nominated Tony Vokes to be their representative.
7ANY OTHER BUSINESS
The Chairman thanked the officers of the council for their hard work and thanked West Bridgford Dramatic Society for their hospitality and warm welcome.
There being no other business, the meeting ended at 7.05 pm.
